Where do the exchange rates come from?

Daily reference rates from the European Central Bank; the ruble and the Algerian dinar from the Bank of Russia, the Vietnamese dong from Norges Bank, and the UAE dirham and Saudi riyal through their fixed rate to the US dollar. They are for reference and may differ from what an exchange offers.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The app keeps the last rates it received and shows their date under the amount.

Why do some notes say SPECIMEN?

Many issuers allow images of their notes only with such a mark, so the app shows them as each issuer requires.

Why are some small coins missing?

Coins hardly used in daily change are left out, and amounts are rounded to the smallest piece shown.

A currency is missing or was removed

We add a currency when its notes and coins can be shown under its issuer’s rules, and we remove one if its issuer asks.
